“They Write Grievousness Which They Have Prescribed”
Some scripture texts mirror exactly what we are experiencing in the present condition of the kingdom of this world. When I read, they “…write grievousness which they have prescribed,” it immediately was obvious that medications prescribed are very grievous to those who digest them! If it’s not the many side-effects, the enormous costs, or the ineffectiveness of the medication to relieve the problem, then it’s the inability to get the brand or quality required. Of course, this situation is most grievous to the needy, to the poor, to the widows, and the fatherless! The fatherless includes people who have no one to provide for them, and includes the homeless! The Living God loves these people and sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on the Cross for them to give them Eternal Life in the Kingdom of Heaven.
It is very obvious how policies relating to medications affects various classes of society differently! Today’s scripture verse even says, Woe to those that decree unrighteous decrees.” In other words, it is dastardly to establish policies that the lawmakers know will be grievous to the lower class while giving the upper class more power, influence, authority, and world recognition. The modern god of knowledge in this technological age seems to know nothing about caring for the human family. The spirit of the anti-Christ is prominently in the world today. BUT, Christ whom is in us is greater than he who is of this world. Satan’s character is to steal, kill, and destroy! To see the tremendous gap between the rich and poor on a global level, all one has to do is look at the massive numbers of migrants that form caravans by the thousands…and they are in all places around the globe! Yesterday, 7000 migrants began their march towards the United States border to escape the dastardly decrees and unrighteousness within their native country. The answer is not in crossing territories within the kingdom of this world, but the solution is to cross into the territory of the Kingdom of God through the Cross of Christ Jesus, the door and the gate.
It is obvious to anyone that love is becoming cold in the kingdom of this world, that the Message of the Cross is not being verbalized, the Holy Spirit is being rejected and substituted for knowledge, the Living God is being erased from consciousness, and that computer chip implants (in the hand) are becoming more prevalent globally. Decrees and policies are not written for the whosoever, but are written for the enhancement of life on this earth! Which means there is no respect for the spirit, soul, body, and general life and welfare of those who are not “needed” within the model of the “New World.” The system of the anti-Christ is developing! The rich get richer, which are those considered to be politically correct; and the poor gets poorer, which are those who reject the godless knowledge that shuts the door to the Spirit of God.
The Spirit of Christ motivates us to feed the Word of God to all people, to bring the Waters of Life through the verbalizing of the Gospel Message, to invite the stranger into the Kingdom of God through Christ Jesus, to clothe one another by the Holy Spirit, to bring healing of the sin sick soul through the Cross of Christ, and to visit those who yet remain imprisoned to their sin. In other words, it is by the Spirit of Christ that we care for the needy, care for the rights of the poor, care for the widows, and care for those who have no one to care for them. We must care for their soul and spirit by presenting to them the opportunity to accept what Christ Jesus has done for them at the Cross.
No one is perfect, which is to say that we are all flawed by sin. God honors that humble attitude. We all know someone whose life has been changed because of what Christ did on the Cross to remit sin. I am one. God honors that belief. Confessing that we are flawed with sin, and believing in the work of Jesus Christ on the Cross will reconcile us to God. That simple! Believe in the heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.
“Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!” Isaiah 10:1-2
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.” Mark 25:34-36
