The Lord Will Discover Their Secret Parts
There are some things that we crave to have. After that yearning, we begin to fill our eyes with pictures until we find the one we want. Hopefully, it's something that we can have pride in and brag about. For example, we begin to have a yearning for a pizza, then we search ads to choose the one that looks like what we want, then of course we want it to be exactly as we imagined it to be when it arrives. Satan will use natural processes like that to seduce people through the flesh and cause them to be involved in things of the world that they would best not to. What is described above corresponds to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. Christ defeated Satan at the Cross, and today we can overcome the lust of flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life because it is no longer us who lives but it is Christ who lives in us. Mankind looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.
The women of Israel were not much different than what is happening with so many women in today's world. Those women come across as being arrogantly superior as they stretch out their necks with wanton eyes, purposely emphasizing a dainty gait, and making sure their presence is noticed to a potential victim. A victim with lust in the flesh, lust in the eyes, and pride in their ego. Those women intend to draw others away from the Living God in order to serve the world, the flesh, and to be subservient to the modern god of this technological age. A wealth of knowledge and information does not compare to the simplicity that is in the Cross of Christ. Those women really know how to use their physical assets to draw men into the nonsense and chaos of the world. The women of Israel had the same external attractiveness as the women today. From head to toe they had it all to make themselves appealing to the lust of flesh, the lust of eyes, and the pride of life. However, it is mankind who looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.
The women then as now, had indoor and outdoor hats, neck scarfs, bonnets, headbands, earrings, nose jewels, hats like nuns wear, curling irons, fancy purses, hoods, and even face vails. They placed bells on their shoes, wore leg ornaments, chains, bracelets, fine linen, and had changeable clothing. The women had all the exterior adornments needed to create a spark of interest in their victims. It was a spark to enflame the lusts of the flesh, the lusts of the eyes, and the pride of life. Satan's intent was to cause their victims to desire the ways of the world while drawing them away from following the Living God. Mankind looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart. The Holy Ghost promised that beneath all their external beauty, their secret parts would be discovered. We are engaged into a brutal spiritual war where the anti-Christ wants to rape the Children of God of the beauty of Holiness. Today, those who accept what Christ did for us on the Cross have Christ abiding in us, and we do not focus on external appearances but we look to the matters of the heart.
The anti-Christ is in the world today! Satan has his neck stretched forward, with wanton eyes, with tinkling bells in seeking the next victim whom he will devour. The anti-Christ will use the astounding manifestation of knowledge and information to become the modern god of this technological age. Satan makes the anti-Christ deceptively appealing for the purpose of drawing us away from the Living God, to belittle the Cross of Christ, and to oppose the presence of the Holy Ghost. With all their knowledge and information, the revelation of the Living God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy ghost does not manifest. The system of the anti-Christ will be adorned with beauty from head to toe to appeal to the lusts of the flesh, the lusts of the eyes, and the pride of life. However, it is mankind whom looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart. The Living God exposes the secret parts of the anti-Christ to expose him for what he is, the embodiment of Satan's evil! Those of us who abide in Christ, by accepting what He did for us on the Cross, will see past the "beauty" of the propaganda and directly into the heart of evilness. Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy...that is what is in him to do....and he utilizes his advantage over the lusts of our flesh, the lusts of our eyes, and our pride.
In Christ Jesus, we are set apart from the ways of the world, the flesh, and the deception of the anti-Christ. A key in remaining free from the entanglements of the system of the anti-Christ is to know that mankind looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart. God is not impressed by worldly knowledge, worldly information, pretty hair, fancy clothes, designer shoes, a flirtatious walk, earrings, necklaces, remarkable cosmetics, physical fitness, etc. God is Spirit and the only way to be right with the Living God is to have an open spirit so that He can infill our soul with the presence of the Holy Ghost. We are filled with lusts of the flesh, lusts of the eyes, and the pride of life. The only way to make that sin inactive in us, to make it dormant, to render it inactive through our body, is to nail it to the Cross! Our sin was nailed to the Cross with Christ Jesus, our sin was buried in the grave with Christ Jesus, and we are resurrected in spirit by the same resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead. Our kingdom is not of this world but our Home is in the Kingdom of God. The kingdom of this world looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.
"Moreover the Lord says, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet: Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the Lord will discover their secret parts. In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon, the chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers, the bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings, the rings, and nose jewels, the changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins, the glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails."
Isaiah 3:16-23 King James Version (KJV)
for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7
No one is perfect, which is to say that we are all flawed by sin. God honors that humble attitude. We all know someone whose life has been changed because of what Christ did on the Cross to remit sin. I am one. God honors that belief. Confessing that we are flawed with sin, and believing in the work of Jesus Christ on the Cross will reconcile us to God. That simple! Believe in the heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord
