“God Resists The Proud, But Gives Grace To The Humble.”
When we think of someone having a stout heart, we conjure up images that are far from a compassionate, tender, soft, merciful, and loving heart. A stout heart would definitely produce much different fruit than a soft and tender heart! For example, a Walnut is a stout fruit, but a Banana is a much softer fruit!
A ruler with a stout heart might have pride in ruling with a mighty military force, but a ruler with a compassionate heart seeks freedom through the spirit and soul! The Living God promises to punish the fruit of the stout heart. In combination with a stout heart, imagine someone creating glorious images of himself and decorated with many awards and honors. Those rewards and honors would recognize his self-proclaimed invincibility and sovereignty relating to achievements in the kingdom of this world. A person like that would welcome an image, an idol, a statue, etc. to be erected of himself! In other words, a person with a stout heart and glorious high looks would want to be the sole admiration of all those he rules over! The anti-Christ will have a stout heart and glorious high looks and demand that everyone worships his image. Grace is for those suffering under the oppression of a worldly system possessing a stout heart and high looks. As it is written, “..He (Christ Jesus) gives more grace. Wherefore He says, God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
These are the self-proclamations that come from a stout heart and of glorious high looks; by the strength of his own hand he establishes dominion, by his own wisdom he gains worldly control, and because he is prudent he rules. Then the stout and egotistical heart goes on to say that he has removed the borders from the nations, he has robbed them of their wealth, and he has easily put down the natives of each country! HOWBEIT, this stout and glorious person is doing this without the remission of sin, is rejecting the presence of the Holy Spirit, and is denouncing the Spirit of the Living God. In other words, his rule is oppressive with many unhappy people, and with the Living God in opposition to him. This sounds a lot like the New World Order who is establishing a global religion by denouncing all other native religions. Without tolerance for the Message of the Cross, we need God’s Grace, and He answers; “But He (Christ Jesus) gives more grace. Wherefore He says, God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
The New World Order is moving forward with their globalization by the strength of their own hand. By their own worldly wisdom they infiltrate countries and demand allegiance to the modern god of knowledge in this technological age. The designers of this NWO declare themselves to be prudent as they remove borders to harvest their wealth for the welfare of globalization! They indirectly boasts of putting down dissenting inhabitants of this world with a mighty hand. Meanwhile, drug epidemics plague the globe with emotional and mental rage continually mounting up! Violence goes on unchecked. Migrant caravans of people without a country exists around the world. Socially, the world is chaotic as love becomes colder and colder. The modern god of this technological age demands absolute allegiance, even beyond national patriotism and love for one another. The NWO is demanding that people identify their words and behavior according to their agenda, based on the god of knowledge. While the spirit of the anti-Christ gains prominence in this world, we have a better hope through what Christ Jesus has done for us on the Cross. As the Great Tribulation inches forward, we are assured of a Home in the Kingdom of God. Meanwhile, the Grace of God is with us, “He (Christ Jesus) gives more grace. Wherefore He says, God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
Satan steals, kills, and destroys and that is exactly what the anti-Christ will do through the modern god of this technological age! And it will be done through the declaration of peace, tolerance, and a global family of enlightenment. Satan disguises himself as an angel of light, is a deceiver, and operates through the lusts of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and pride of life. People will surrender to the dictates of globalization without opening their mouth in opposition, they will not move a wing, and will not peep! The anti-Christ will be like one who gathers eggs from the nests of the nations, and the mother hen will not move a wing and will not peep! The mother hen representing the leaders of each nation who cry, “who can fight against the Beast!” HOWBEIT, our hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Blood and Righteousness. As the kingdom of this world approaches the Great Tribulation, we have a Home prepared for us in the Kingdom of God! Grace will be with us abundantly until that day, “But He gives more grace. Wherefore He says, God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
Christ Jesus says, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” Taking His yoke upon us means to have our sin put into remission, making it inactive and dormant so that it does nothing through us. A stout heart with glorious high looks is nailed to the Cross with Christ Jesus! To envision Jesus hanging on the Cross does not solicit images of ego, pride, glory, esteem; but that is the cost of defeating Satan, the anti-Christ, and all his demons. Buried in the grave is the stout heart with high looks, and resurrected in our spirit is the Spirit of Christ. As Christ abides in us, we develop a meek, lowly, and humble spirit. Even as Christ ascended up into the Third Heaven, we too will ascend up to meet Christ in the air. Jesus Christ is coming soon! Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord!
“Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks. For he says, by the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man: And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathers eggs that are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.”
