Walking in the Light of the Lord enables us to avoid the enticements on Earth that separate us from the Living God. I’m sure there is no argument that the Children of God are forsaken and quietly oppressed in this world. Of course that is true because the Living God and the Message of the Cross are replaced by an ungodly sense of “tolerance,” and global “unity.” When replenishment use to refer to a renewal of soul and spirit, it now refers to a spiritually foreign source related to the materialism, wealth, and resources of this world.
We can remember when Godly people would give a prediction about the future according to the Spirit of God. That word would relate to the direction the world is heading in relation to the impact on the soul and spirit due to our relationship with the Living God. About as close as we get to that nowadays are economic analysts who reiterate the false belief that “as the market goes so goes global prosperity.” This is an example of soothsayers, people who use worldly indicators to predict the future instead of relying on God’s Spirit. The modern god of this technological age intentionally suppresses the real Message of God because it reveals them in the same light as the anti-Christ. BUT, let us walk in the Light of the Lord to replenish the soul and spirit. Many who say that they are Children of God are actually very friendly to the fleshly desires of this world, and they do not love God with their heart, mind, and body; instead they love the enticements on Earth. Their soul, spirit, and bodily acts are intertwined with those who live for worldly prosperity, and they reject what Christ has done for them on the Cross.
The transgressors who mandate the worship of the modern god of this technological age place a very huge value on materialism, while aiming to keep the masses in spiritual darkness. It’s as if they control the flow of money, creating a calculating disbursement of resources. The control of wealth is used to reward those who serve the modern god, and to withhold those rewards from those who denounce the ungodly system. Their money and treasures of this world has no end from continent to continent; and all around the world, their cars, motorcycles, and transportation sources of every type enriches those who serve them. Howbeit, there is no adoration for the Living God, and the Message of the Cross has been replaced with a love for money, fleshly enticements, and material prosperity. The soul and spirit of mankind is being closed up, to the point of people saying there is no such thing as a soul, and they fade into spiritual darkness. BUT, let us walk in the Light of the Lord to replenish our spirit and soul. The mean man, the great man, and people of all types bow themselves to the modern god of this technological age. Their soul and their spirit is destroyed by a love for the enticements of Earth.
The kingdom of this world destroys the spirit and soul, which has the consequences of closing the heart to the Spirit of God. Satan does exactly that, steals, kills, and destroys souls by the enticements, lusts, and ambitions of the flesh. Satan operates through the world and the flesh to detract mankind from what Christ Jesus did for us at the Cross. The modern god of this technological era is operating through the flesh and world to solicit servitude to their agenda for world domination. BUT, let us walk in the Light of the Lord to replenish our spirit and soul. The Kingdom of God operates through the soul and spirit and therefore facilitates a way to keep the soul and spirit open. As w separate ourselves from the desire for prosperity and fleshly enticements, we draw nearer to the Kingdom of God. The only way that we can draw near to the Living God is by acceptance of what His Son Jesus Christ did for us on the Cross. Christ puts sin into remission and allows our spirit and soul to be emptied of the ways of this world. In that emptiness, the Living God opens our spirit to have fellowship with His Spirit. The Spirit of Christ fills us up and replenishes the soul, which happens through the Holy Ghost, and the things of this world grows strangely dim.
“O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord. Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers. Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots: Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made: And the mean man bows down, and the great man humbles himself: therefore forgive them not.” Isaiah 2:5-9 King James Version (KJV)
No one is perfect, which is to say that we are all flawed by sin. God honors that humble attitude. We all know someone whose life has been changed because of what Christ did on the Cross to remit sin. I am one. God honors that belief. Confessing that we are flawed with sin, and believing in the work of Jesus Christ on the Cross will reconcile us to God. That simple! Believe in the heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord
